The College of Semiconductor at Gachon University, the first institution of its kind in Korea, is dedicated to cultivating talent for the advanced semiconductor industrial fields crucial to our nation and society. We achieve this by continuously integrating rapidly evolving technological advancements into our programs. To fulfill our educational objectives in these cutting-edge fields, we offer a comprehensive curriculum rooted in the principles and applications of semiconductor devices and design, with a strong foundation in electronic engineering. This curriculum ensures that students gain a swift and comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in AI semiconductors and other contemporary semiconductor technologies. Our program emphasizes an intensive study of semiconductor courses over four years, culminating in master’s level expertise. This is complemented by hands-on training concentrated in the junior and senior years, equipping graduates to seamlessly transition into the industry upon completion of their studies.

The College of Semiconductor is proud to have over 300 graduates, supported by an exceptional faculty specializing in various semiconductor fields. Our ongoing efforts are dedicated to cultivating advanced professionals who are ready to meet the demands of both the industry and the nation.
As of 2024, the College of Semiconductor at Gachon University was selected for four major national talent development projects: the "Semiconductor Specialization Project" for undergraduate programs, the "4th Stage Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Project" for graduate programs, and both the "Leading University Nurturing Project" and the "Leading Graduate School Nurturing Project" for early employment departments. These projects will further accelerate our efforts in nurturing semiconductor talent.
Leveraging these initiatives, the College of Semiconductor at Gachon University is committed to providing advanced educational content that bridges the gap between industrial requirements and academic training. Our goal is to develop specialized professionals with core competencies who will lead and contribute to the advancement of the semiconductor fields, a pivotal industry in South Korea.
