Semiconductor Design Laboratory
Designing the brains of the digital world. Explore our world-class labs for cutting-edge IC design.

Laboratory Introduction
The laboratories in the Department of Semiconductor Design act as the ultimate hub for integrated circuit (IC) and hardware architecture design, breathing life into every electronic device in the era of digital transformation. Our research centers focus intensely on analog and mixed-signal circuit design in sub-nanometer nodes, high-speed interface (SerDes) circuits for massive data transfer, and extreme low-power circuit optimization techniques.
Furthermore, we propose custom accelerator architectures that maximize computational throughput and energy efficiency, utilizing highly advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools to strictly verify chip Performance, Power, and Area (PPA). Driven by active technical exchanges with global tech giants and international research institutes, our laboratories lead high-difficulty chip design projects that reflect real-world industrial demands. Through precise architectural engineering and relentless circuit innovation, we empower global competitiveness and design the vital engines moving the future digital universe.
