Gachon University Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project Group Holds 1st Special Lecture Series 'Semiconductor Sajeon'

Gachon University's Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project Group and the Semiconductor Education Center have been running a series of special lectures every year. This year, under the main theme of "AI Age, Ask for the Future of Semiconductors," we will hold a special lecture with leading scholars in Korea on the future environment of the convergence of semiconductors and AI.

Professor Kim Yong-seok, a chair professor at Gachon University and head of the Semiconductor Education Center, made his first start under the theme of "What to prepare for in the era of AI transformation." While diagnosing the moment of digital transformation in history and the AI and semiconductor trends of the current generation, he presented the word "time" for the unique human experience and value of the attitude that humans should have in the future AI transition period, using his work experience as a Samsung Electronics employee.

This special lecture is the first, and in the second semester, the Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project and the Semiconductor Education Center will continue to provide the direction for semiconductors in the AI era with leading semiconductor and AI scholars in Korea.

In addition, the Semiconductor Specialized University Support Project Group began to operate a cyber campus comparison course from this special lecture (link), and will continue to provide various video education materials to training members to participate in the project, starting with the re-examination of the first lecture.
