Dive into Youth! Gachon University Successfully Hosts the '2026 Gachon Water Festival'
On May 13, the stadium of Gachon University in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, was transformed into a sea of blue as the "2026 Gachon Water Festival: Dive into U" was successfully held, coloring the campus with vibrant youth.
As Gachon University’s signature spring festival, this year’s event was held under the slogan, "Until We Dive into the Bluest Season That Is You." Boasting an exceptionally large scale for a college festival, it featured a star-studded lineup of 15 acts, including top-tier Korean artists and DJs such as Psy, Jay Park, and BOYNEXTDOOR.
The venue rivaled major commercial music festivals, packed with massive water cannons and spectacular stage effects. Amidst the pouring water streams, students engaged in thrilling water gun fights and cheered passionately to the music, washing away their academic stress.
"It felt like the entire campus turned into a massive Waterbomb festival," said a student who attended the event. "It was the best moment ever, marking an unforgettable chapter of my youth." Proving the unparalleled energy and shining spirit of Gachon University, this year's Water Festival drew to a close amid fiery enthusiasm, leaving everyone anticipating its return next year.
